Hope’s Story

Hope lived as a stray dog all her life and was always minding her business and never approached a human being. Until one day someone decided to aim and shoot her in her back causing her to become paralyzed but unfortunately everyone ignored her while she was dragging herself for months and months and she also had to find food and shelter in this condition.

When rescued, Hope was in one of the worst conditions ever, all of her bones were exposed because of how much she dragged them and everytime she was peeing she would burn herself and her tummy. Hope’s survival wasn't' guaranteed since the infection has been eating her body and to be able to save her we had to do an emergency amputation surgeries for both her legs.

In 2021, Hope traveled to Canada thanks to the amazing Marwa Hussein and later on her adoption was handled by the amazing New Day Dog Rescue where she found her forever home. A family having a dog like Hope fell in love and immediately took her in. Hope now enjoys life to the fullest with her amazing family.
