LIV

Liv used to lived a life full of miseries. Her owner tied her in a small box on top of a hill with her sister Joy all their lives. Both dogs were so severely emaciated, he would keep them under the sun with no water and in the winter with no place to hide from the rain. Liv’s cruel owner would come every few days to throw them some leftover bread but he was so cruel that he would throw the bread away from them and due to their short chain they used to almost hang themselves to be able to get the bread.

When rescued, Liv was so severely emaciated and full of ticks and fleas, that day we removed over a thousand parasites off of their skinny bodies. Liv was anemic and needed a lot of work to get her on the healthy road. Both dogs had 0 idea on how to live without the chain and once they were free, they ran for several hours because of happiness.

Liv spent a few months in the boarding facility before finding her forever home in Vancouver. Liv was welcomed by an awesome mom and her dog sister Boba. Liv and Boba immediately clicked and became best friends. Liv now goes on hikes, boat trips and fun activities all day, Liv became so confident and now has learned all the commands and she is so happily loved.
