MAX

Max was born on the streets of Lebanon and witnessed his mom getting shot in her eyes and getting set on fire. Max and his siblings and mom were still at risk because the neighbors wanted to shoot and kill them all.

When rescued Max was completely shut off at barely 2 months old and wouldn’t approach us and when we do, he would close his eyes and start screaming thinking we were going to hit him.

Max traveled to Canada in 2021 when a family wanted to give him a home but surrendered him 5 days later. Max later on found the most amazing and patient foster mom ever and she worked on him because he was no longer trusting any humans. We partnered up with the amazing Pitous sans Frontière and thanks to them Max now Roo found the most amazing family ever.
